Since the merger of trycycle and second childhood we’ve been wondering what to do with our name. Second Childhood stocks great secondhand recycled kid's designer clothes, plus a whole lot of other kids stuff like toys and prams and books. Trycycle also stocks fantastic recycled kid’s designer clothes at brilliant prices so, as we’ve said elsewhere, the merging of the two made perfect sense. But what to do with the name? We can’t keep calling it Trycycle +Second Childhood because it’s a mouthful and doesn’t work graphically. Second Childhood has been there for 21 years and is the most trusted name in secondhand recycled kid’s designer clothes in Australia. Yet trycycle has built up a reputation as a trusted and respected online seller of recycled kids designer clothes. So, do we change the name of the shop to trycycle or change the name of trycycle to second childhood? What might the impact of either be?
